GIADA

Beijing Jinbao, 2018

Distinctive architect Claudio Silvestrin, designer of the Giada Milan store in Montenapoleone, has created a contemporary and timeless architecture, where ancient and modern embrace one another in a calm and elegant space, giving a luxurious feel and full expression to the Giada collection.

The 250m2 Giada flagship store in Beijing is facing the prestigious Jinbao street, with entrances from the street as well as the Jinbao Place shopping mall.

Comprised of truly natural materials and elements: life-giving water, stone walls and floors, cast bronze and natural leather, full height doors and mirrors, all united in harmony through a linear and decisive geometry, rich in sophisticated details.

The idea behind this appearance is a poetic metaphor representing the rising energy and fire of a dragon. In the architect Claudio Silvestrin’s own words:

“A young dragon dwells underground
Unknown
He dreams of seeing the sky
He pushes upwards
In rising, the earth’s surface begins to crumble
Through the cracks
Light emerges”
