ETHEREA

The Architecture MasterPrize

Claudio Silvestrin’s latest design project, Etherea, in collaboration with Minotticucine, has been awarded The Architecture MasterPrize 2026 in the “Products – Kitchen Products” category.

Drawing inspiration from aether — Plato’s fifth vital element — and from Mother Nature, Etherea anticipates the aesthetics of the next 20 years. Its innovative beauty challenges our visual conventions and beliefs.

Crafted in Corian, a modern, malleable and lightweight material, the kitchen resembles a stone or a floating meteorite. With its absence of right angles, Etherea appears to float in the air and space.

Claudio Silvestrin’s intention is to de-materialize the kitchen as an object, making it “ethereal”, with a beauty that feels almost natural, beyond linear time and the culture of the machine.
